Welcome to Komando, the creativity newsletter.

Komando is a newsletter sent out every 2 weeks with the best creative, clever and innovative campaigns to draw inspiration from.

Who am I?

I'm Kéliane. For those of you I don't know yet: nice to meet you! I've been writing this newsletter since 2019 because I've always liked to 'feed' myself by keeping an eye on things and picking up inspiration from other sectors. When I saw interesting formats or campaigns, I'd send them to my best friend... until one day he said to me: "But you know, this might be of interest to other people...". Either he was fed up with me spamming him, or he really thought there was something to be done. I suggest we go with the second hypothesis :) And so the newsletter was born.

At the same time, after several years spent working in political communications, in ministerial offices and at the Élysée Palace, I set up my own creative studio, Komando: if you're interested, I explain here my approach to communications, what I do (and what I don't do).

What can you expect?

  • What is Komando? It's a trend watch newsletter sent out every other Tuesday morning, analysing the best innovative and creative campaigns. For me, all the formats I select have to be 'clever', in the sense of having a precise objective and target audience, and reaching them with creative execution. So, commando operations (you've got it, have you?). You can take a look at previous issues here.

  • What's the difference between free and paying subscribers? As a free subscriber, you'll receive the newsletter every fortnight, but you'll only be able to read the beginning: only paying subscribers (€9/month or €90/year) have access to all issues. They will also have access to the archives of all previous issues. You can switch to a paid subscription at any time.

  • Can my company pay for the subscription? Yes, think about it! Many of you - managers, directors, CMOs, creatives, journalists, freelancers, etc. - follow this newsletter in a professional capacity, and it's perfectly possible (and common) to have the subscription paid for as a business expense. You can even take out several subscriptions for your teams, to give them a shot of creativity, just like any subscription to a professional media or monitoring service.

How do I get in touch?

At any time, if you have a question, a comment or a suggestion for a cool campaign you've seen (I obviously never guarantee to deal with them, in order to keep my editorial independence), don 't hesitate to write to me. That's the magic of newsletters: a more intimate channel away from social networks, where we talk to each other. You can also find me on Linkedin and Insta.

Please note that the newsletter is also available in French.
